pinch your people
last updated: August 2026
the short version: be honest, be kind, and don't use Pinch to hurt anyone. the rest is detail.
By creating an account or using Pinch, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Pinch lets you send a small relationship check-in ("a pinch") to a friend, sibling, partner, or acquaintance. Both sides answer the same set of questions, and each of you gets a private "Letter of Revelation" showing how things landed — never your exact score, never each other's raw answers. It's meant to be a light, low-pressure way to stay close to people, not a scientific or clinical assessment of any relationship.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up, you're confirming you meet this requirement — we rely on what you tell us, not a separate verification step.
If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child is using Pinch under this age, contact us through the contact page and we'll remove the account promptly.
You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account. Use your real self — impersonating someone else, or creating an account to represent a person other than you, isn't allowed.
Pinch is built around honesty and low pressure — please keep it that way. You agree not to:
We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.
Anything you write — your bio, pinch messages, feedback — stays yours. By posting it on Pinch, you're giving us permission to store and display it back to you and, where the feature intends it (like a bio or a Letter you choose to share), to the people you're sharing it with. We don't sell it or use it to train anything without telling you first.
Your social score, titles, and Letters are meant for fun and connection — not as a measure of your worth, your relationships' health, or anything clinical. Please don't treat them as more than what they are: a lighthearted way to notice and appreciate the people around you.
You can stop using Pinch, and request deletion of your account and data, anytime through the contact page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Pinch is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running well and to protect your data, but we can't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or exactly as described at every moment — it's a small, actively-developing project.
We may update these terms as Pinch grows. If we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Pinch after a change means you accept the update.
